Across Canada Workshop Series: Showcasing British Columbia’s “Water Balance Model Express for Landowners”

Partner: Partnership for Water Sustainability

Locations: Calgary, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Halifax

The Water Balance Model Express is an online tool to help homeowners evaluate the current and potential ability of their properties to “slow, sink and spread” rainwater.

Intact funding will pay for the delivery of 4 workshops—designed for water resource and infrastructure practitioners who work in a local government setting—that will be organized and held at locations in Ontario, Quebec and in the Maritimes. The series will share the BC experience so that other regions may learn from that experience and, if they wish, adapt BC approaches and tools to help improve watershed-based rainwater management.
